Let us bring your vision to life

The Before
The space had a low ceiling, lacked colour and character, and included awkward structural elements along with essential services that needed to remain accessible. Additionally, multiple entry and exit points had to be carefully accommodated.

The Brief
We had an unused basement that we didn't know what to do with. It had become a bit of a dumping ground so we wanted to put it to good use. Adam and his team came in and we started to put some ideas together and look at the limitations of the space. The ceiling isn't too high and there is a complicated flood-water drainage system with pumps underneath the floor, so access had to be clear to certain parts of the walls and floor.
We wanted an entertaining space for us and our friends but also our teenage children and their friends as well. Adam put together some different concepts for the space, and we fell in love with one of them instantly. There are two large structural pillars right in the middle of the room and the concept we went for divided the space up cleverly so that the pillars are no longer an issue and even became a very cool feature. The ceiling height isn't great but we wanted the largest possible screen for movies and games.
We now have an amazing space with defined areas that all the family can use. We use it all the time and can't get our kids out of there. The attention to detail and the finish on every part of each space is amazing. There are things we didn't ask for but now love such as hidden doors and concealed panels hiding essential items and access. The cinema room sounds mind-blowing, and way surpassed our expectations... even though we went to Adam's showroom and he demonstrated an amazing cinema to us, we never thought ours would be anything like it is... We're blown away by the whole thing.
The whole teams' experience really made this what it is as we wouldn't have had the imagination to come up with something so special and coherent.
Adam and Steve helped us with choosing colours and materials and all the really small details that you wouldn't neccesserily think about yourself and the custom-made gun-lift is the icing on the cake. It is such a small detail but it's all the small details compounded what makes it such an amazing space.

A custom-built, concealed lift made for an impressive feature. It’s activated by a hidden switch, so it always catches people by surprise. The space between the columns was too narrow to use conventionally, but I think we found a solution that really works. We wanted something unique to our project—something we hadn’t seen done before.
